JOANNA WALKS
most everywhere now.
hitch in right leg: up and to
the side. Giddy up

Felt a twinge--but I
can't want another!
EMERSON HAS LEARNED TO USE THE COMPUTER
Mouse in grasp, left-click,
hold. Highlight, drag. Little hand,
don't grow up so fast!

JOANNA HAS TWO FRONT TEETH, SUDDENLY
Like two chicklets,
glimpses of white. Soon, she will
bite, and eat, and swear.
DEEP REFLECTIONS UPON EMERSON'S GROWING UP DAY AT MONTESSORI
Can't write yet; almost.
Puzzles (48 pieces) are a breezy task.
She sees more (better) than I.
As Sharon Olds said,
It's the story
of replacement.
